Not in 2023 though. In 2023, it’s not only more acceptable, but actually encouraged, as the exposed bra has turned into one of the hottest fashion trends of the year!

The 38-year-old Black Widow actress rocked the trend when she attended the premiere of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City at the Cannes Film Festival on May 23rd. She wore a stunning Barbiecore pink Prada dress, which came complete with a faux white bralette on the top of it, to look like she was exposing her bra. She exuded old Hollywood glamour and modern sexiness all in one look!
Sydney Sweeney
While ScarJo's white bralette was actually attached to her dress, Sydney Sweeney's execution of the trend was a little different, but just as intentional. When she and fiancé Jonathan Davino went out for date night during the Cannes Film Festival back in May, the 25-year-old Euphoria star wore a stunning silky low-cut slip dress with a powder-blue Miu Miu bra underneath. We will never tire of her Miu Miu outfits! They seemed to be two separate pieces (unlike ScarJo's all-in-one piece) but exposing the bra was 100% intentional. If we're wearing a Miu Miu bra, we would want it to be seen too!

The 47-year-old Prometheus actress proved that there is more than one way to expose a bra when she attended the Fast X world premiere in Rome on May 12th. She stole the show in a black mesh Christian Dior dress with a super-plunging front, teamed with a matching black bralette, shorts, and a leather beret.
