Apple is known as one of the top tech companies when it comes to privacy. But nothing is perfect and, unfortunately, Apple has just been exposed for flaw in its products that could have disastrous consequences. This huge secret about Apple security just got out — and iPhone users are furious.

In 2017, Apple added the T2 chip to devices to secure features like encrypted data storage, Touch ID, and Activation Lock. But what has recently been exposed is that the T2 chip has a major flaw: it's called Checkm8 and it’s something that jailbreakers had been relying in mobile device chipsets.

Good news: your iPhone 12 will come with a USB-C to Lightning charging cable. And it may be possible to pick up an extra power adapter and wired headphones, should you need them, for a bit less money via a second-hand source.

Apple predicts that eliminating the production of these accessories, as well as the packaging they come in, will help the brand achieve its environmental goals by reducing 2 million metric tons of carbon annually — which is synonymous with 450,000 fewer cars on the road.

In a press release, Apple’s spokesperson explained why the iPhone 12 is still well worth the cost: "This is a huge leap for iPhone, bringing the best 5G experience in the market and delivering our most advanced technologies to users who want the absolute most from their iPhone. Each generation of iPhone has changed what we expect from a smartphone, and now with 5G, iPhone 12 Pro provides a new generation of performance."
