The iPhone has a feature called Optimized Charging, that not many people know about. Optimized charging is available with iOs 13 or later. It uses insights to help your phone achieve the best charge it can to help the battery out.
With Optimized Charging enabled, your iPhone can learn your charging habits to only charge itself to 80%, then wait to charge the rest of the way until it estimates you are about to use the phone. You can easily activate Optimized Charging by navigating to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
There are quite a few tricks people use to best optimize their iPhone’s battery life. In addition to the Optimized Charging setting, you can try reducing the phone’s brightness, turning on auto-brightness, stop notifications from apps you don’t use, turn on Wifi calling or enabling low-power mode.
