Selena Gomez just celebrated her 32nd birthday this week, and she didn’t miss the chance to gush about her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, on social media.
“Love of my life,” the Rare Beauty mogul captioned a heartfelt Instagram Story post for her 425 million followers on July 22nd, showcasing a sweet photo of her beau embracing and kissing her forehead.
This latest public display of affection comes after Gomez previously made a comment about Blanco being “better than” all her exes last year, which of course includes musicians Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.

The new snapshot captures the Only Murders in the Building actress glowing with happiness as she wraps her arms around the music producer's waist. In the pic, Blanco, 36, donned a blue floral shirt with comfy trousers, and Gomez sported a long-sleeved cozy black sweater and matching pants.
Soon after, Gomez also took to her IG Story to share her boyfriend's sweet birthday message to her with all her fans. Blanco's note arrived with a photo of him snuggling with the "Lose You To Love Me" singer, both wrapped in the warmth of the moment.
He was dressed as a white teddy bear, and the picture seemed to capture a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the days they were shooting the music video for their 2019 collaboration, "I Can't Get Enough." This, as fans know, was before their romance blossomed.
"I used to play a teddy bear in ur music video and now i get to b urs in real life… happy bday bb ! i love u !" Blanco wrote to Gomez. Before they became romantically linked in June of last year, the Songwriters Hall of Famer and "Hands to Myself" hitmaker had already been acquainted for several years, due to their collaboration on the aforementioned 2019 hit single, "I Can't Get Enough," featuring Tainy and J Balvin.
A memorable moment from the song's music video featured a charming display between Blanco and Gomez, who were seen on a spacious bed; the former donning a funny bear costume while the latter sported cozy pajamas. Back in August 2023, the song "Single Soon" was unveiled by Gomez with Blanco's production.
Subsequently, Gomez verified their romantic relationship via an Instagram Story post several months later in December. She showed off a ring bearing the initial "B" and addressing Blanco as "the best thing that's ever happened to me," in a comment.
In February 2024, Gomez chatted with Zane Lowe of Apple Music about her bond with Blanco after revealing PDA-filled pics on Instagram and appearing together in public at athletic events and the 2024 Golden Globes.
