Selena Gomez Reveals She Can't Carry A Child
As Selena Gomez continues to gush over her boyfriend, Benny Blanco–"I've never been loved like this before," she said of the music producer in her interview—fans are beginning to wonder if he's the one, and if a mini Selena Gomez (or mini Benny Blanco!) is not too far off in the future. Especially after her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, welcomed his first child with his wife, Hailey Bieber. Some fans even think Selena's revelation might've been spurred by the arrival of baby Jack Blues Bieber.
Whatever her reasoning is, the Only Murders in the Building actress spoke candidly to Vanity Fair: "I haven't ever said this, but I unfortunately can't carry my own children," she said. "I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while."
However, that doesn't mean having a family in the future is out of the question. "It's not necessarily the way I envisioned it," she explained. "I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone. [But] I'm in a much better place with that. I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me."
"It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms," she continued. "I'm one of those people. I'm excited for what that journey will look like, but it'll look a little different. At the end of the day, I don't care. It'll be mine. It'll be my baby."
Fans Feel 'So Sorry' For Selena Gomez

"Feel so sorry for her," another wrote, while a third added, "So heartbreaking."
"This broke my heart," another said. "Thank you for being so real."
"Nothing wrong with surrogacy!" one person said. "You got this sweetheart!"
"Sending you so much love," a final fan wrote. "Thank you for sharing your truth with us."
