The “Love On” singer, 31, recently shared a sweet photo on her IG Story of a handwritten card that the music producer, 36, made for her to commemorate their first virtual date.
The pink note included a message from Blanco that read: “Happy First Virtual Date! – Benny” with a cute flower he drew beside it. “#Long distance relationship vibes,” Gomez captioned the post for her 429 million followers. This came just after an insider reportedly dished to Life & Style this month that the couple (who have been seeing each other for nearly eight months) are preparing for an engagement in the near future.

The love story between the two Grammy winners is certainly blossoming, as seen from their recent outings and continual shoutouts to each other on social media. According to an insider, the romance between the Rare Beauty mogul and Songwriters Hall of Famer may be progressing to the next level. As per Life & Style, a source recently revealed to the mag that Gomez eagerly anticipates Blanco’s proposal.
"Selena can’t wait for Benny to propose," a source recently told the outlet. They added: "She’s been telling friends she’s finally found the right guy and she’s ready to walk down the aisle. There are some who fear she’s rushing into things a little bit, though. They don’t want Selena to get her heart broken."
The insider went on, noting that an engagement between Gomez and Blanco might happen sooner than many expected. "Benny is planning a romantic proposal — he’s just waiting for the right time," the source said, adding that the Only Murders in the Building star and record producer "have talked rings." Blanco has reportedly "even gone shopping — so he might pop the question any day now," according to the tipster.
Gomez and Blanco have apparemtly "already discussed their dream wedding," and Gomez "wants lots of color and tons of flowers." Gomez (who revealed on Instagram in December that Blanco is "better than anyone I’ve ever been with") also has been looking at wedding dresses, as noted by the source.
She allegedly "can’t decide between Valentino, Oscar de la Renta and Armani" when it comes to potential labels and designs for her big gown.
In December of last year, Gomez confirmed her relationship with Blanco while replying to a fan on IG, and wrote that being with him "is my happiest" state. She also pointed out at the time that she and Blanco had been seeing each other for six months, which means that they have been linked since summer of 2023.
On March 8th, the "Lose You To Love Me" hitmaker made a post for her IG followers and gushed about her beau on his birthday. She also shared loved-up selfies of her and Blanco together and videos of their special moments. "Happy birthday baby! Your emotional endurance, positive disposition, unbelievable talent (that blows me away), undeniable humor and loving, kind heart absolutely kill me. I love you @itsbennyblanco," Gomez captioned the post.

In an interview with Apple Music 1 host Zane Lowe last month, Gomez opened up about her relationship with Blanco. "It’s just really important to meet someone that respects you," she said at the time.
The "Single Soon" artist also added that she is grateful to be able to "lean on someone who understands the world that I live in."
