The 28-year-old explained her absence from the platform in a Wednesday, July 29th post. She revealed the reasons behind her hiatus and vowed to start posting more content soon. We are so relieved!

"I wanted to take some time to do a quick message for you guys because I haven’t been posting that much," she began the message.
"I just wanted to let you know that I love you guys and I miss you and there’s so many exciting things coming up that I can’t wait to share with all of you," she continued. We are so grateful for that news!

Without going into specifics, the "Spring Breakers" star referenced the events of the past few months, revealing that “it felt a little insensitive to post things that may be a little just joyful or celebratory.”
At a time when social media platforms should be used to amplify black voices, we think this was a good call.
But luckily, she says she's spent her time off social learning more about black issues. “It was really hard for me and I’ve taken the time to learn, truly learn, about what’s going on and I continue to make that my priority," she added. Bravo!
