Within the last two years, we’ve seen Selena Gomez here and there. Gomez has been active with interviews promoting her own TV content (’13 Reasons Why’ and the documentary ‘Living Undocumented’), and in her own social media feed. Although her recent work has been phenomenal, we have to admit, it hasn’t been the traditional Gomez we’re used to.
Taking a break from producing music and singing on stage, Selena took much-needed time to herself. Since her diagnosis with Lupus and her breakup with Justin Beiber, it was well understood that some time away from the public eye was necessary for her healing process.
But time has passed, and Selena Gomez is back in the best way! Breaking her performing hiatus, at the AMAs, Gomez showed up on the red carpet ready to slay!
The most drastic difference we noticed in Gomez, was her hair. Having previously released music videos “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look At Her Now”, we see Gomez with long locks of hair (almost down to her tush). Then, weeks later, those multi-toned curls have been cut below the collar bone. Gomez rocked a long bob at the AMAs, with a defined center-part to match.
It truly goes to show, Gomez can look fantastic no matter what! Short hair, long hair, mini dress or lounging in sweatpants – this superstar has a heart of gold and excellent taste in style/beauty to match.
