Carrie Underwood isn’t the only one blowing us away with her makeup-free pictures at the moment. Selena Gomez has also proven that she is a true natural beauty, as the 29-year-old Only Murders in the Building star shared a bare-faced video of herself with all 290 million of her Instagram followers on January 9th. And as expected, she drove the whole internet wild!
The “Lose You To Love Me” singer captioned the video, which involved her showing off a letter she wrote to her Rare Beauty team which was printed on the back of the New York Times‘ Styles section: “It would be an understatement for me to say I’m proud of my @rarebeauty team and what we have accomplished so far. Love you guys!”

And the whole internet loves Selena, as her video received over three million likes, and over 23,000 comments! “You’re too beautiful,” commented one Selenator, while another added, “Love you girl you look amazing.” “We are so proud of you and @RareBeauty Team!! You guys are amazing!” wrote a Selena fan account, followed by a red heart emoji. “Thank you @selenagomez! So grateful for you and this beautiful brand,” added another fan.
Selena’s letter, which was titled “Open letter to my team at Rare Beauty,” read: “I want to thank you for all your hard work in making the brand such a beloved part of our community. None of it would have been possible without you.”
"My goal with Rare Beauty was to launch a brand that helped shape the dialogue around the beauty of self-acceptance and embracing your uniqueness—something that has been desperately needed in the beauty space," Sel continued.
"The heart of this brand is in recognizing that we’re not meant to look a certain way and that we’re all unique and different and that’s something that should be celebrated. I knew when I founded the brand that we would need to win over skeptics who doubted our commitment to deliver great products with an authentic mission. But with all your hard work and dedication, I believe we have proven that we are building a brand that will deliver on our promise."
