It’s not just Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton who draw inspiration from the legendary Princess Diana, renowned for her timeless fashion sense, but Selena Gomez may also have paid homage to the late princess by donning an elegant polka dot dress during a lunch outing in Paris.

Since the Rare Beauty mogul arrived in Paris for the start of fashion week and other star-studded events, she's been catching attention for her trendy looks.
This time, during her visit to Paris's L’Avenue restaurant, the singer sported a short polka-dot frock designed by French designer, Jacquemus. While the dress featured a simple yet eye-catching skirt and a low, square neckline, what truly stood out were its oversized, puffy sleeves that balanced the overall shape of the dress.
The former Disney star opted to push the sleeves down for an off-the-shoulder look.
In the 1980s, the beloved Princess Diana frequently graced various events in polka dot dresses that showcased a body-hugging silhouette. Specifically, a 1988 ensemble that is a similar dress which Selena chose to rock in Paris.
She finished her look with slingback Versace heels, silver hoop earrings, and a black clutch. Her makeup featured a brown lip and feathered eyebrows while her hair was kept down in an effortless center part.
Selena Gomez Has Fun In Paris
The 31-year-old has been having a blast in Paris, specifically with her BFF Nicola Peltz-Beckham. The two were first spotted at a soccer match in the fashion capital, where they rocked similar looks in leather jackets and slicked-back hair. Selena then dropped a gorgeous selfie in a Paris photodump compilation on her Instagram of the two besties striking a cute pose.
Selena can be seen wearing a gray blazer layered on top of a blue button-down shirt and a white corset. Nicola wore a black jacket and styled her hair in her signature slicked-back style.
Both girls matched in mini hoops earrings; the singer went for a gold hue and the wife of Brooklyn Beckham opted for a silver color.
Fashion week fun for the two stars might be over, but we sure hope we get to see more matching styles from Selena and her BFF, Nicola!
