Selena Gomez has significantly increased her presence everywhere these days, not only on social media but also at award shows, Parisian afterparties, and while fulfilling her duties for her Rare Beauty line. Amidst all this, the singer has elevated her fashion sense to new heights, surprising us with ensembles we’ve never seen her wear before and couldn’t have even imagined!
One look we still daydream about is her blooming floral dress she wore to her Rare Impact Fund Benefit event in LA earlier this month. The dress was one out three looks she donned for the special event, making her an undefeated force in the celeb fashion world.
Selena Rocks Purple Frock At Mental Health Fund Event
For the event, the 31-year-old donned a blooming, custom-made amethyst purple 'Iris' dress sourced from Indian designer Rahul Mishra's Couture Fall 2023 collection.
According to the designer's Instagram post, "The look aims to imitate the petals of an Iris flower through intricate hand embroidery." The lavender dress resembled a colossal unfurling flower petal, and upon closer examination, it revealed thousands of meticulously arranged tiny sequins.
The dress gave off the illusion of a radiant flower petal as Selena struck poses for photographs.
To complement the one-piece ensemble, she adorned herself with diamond chandelier-style earrings and donned gold-strap heels. With a glossy lip and her short lob styled in a sleek center-part, she looked effortlessly chic for the event.
Selena Gomez Stuns In A Purple Corset Dress
It seems that the former Disney star is loving purple lately. For the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty, the "Who Says" icon rocked a strapless, corseted mini dress that showed off all her curves in a captivating shade of violet.
This custom creation was courtesy of Undone by Kate. She rounded off her ensemble with understated black heels, a delicate tennis necklace and hoop earrings, along with a red manicure.
At the VMAs, Selena's joint project with Rema, "Calm Down," received four award nominations and ultimately clinched the prestigious trophy for Best Afrobeats.
