Sharon Stone is as stunning as ever and just rocked a glamorous, layered red dress on the cover of Vanity Fair Italia (and took our breath away in the process). The Basic Instinct actress and former model proved she’s still a reigning fashion icon at 64 as she posed amid ruffled, fiery fabric with pearl necklaces, a large cross charm attached to her dangly hoop earrings and crossed her legs, revealing matching scarlet pumps.
The Flight Attendant star discussed her role on the HBO show’s second season and her character (who is mother to Kaley Cuoco‘s) as well as healthy aging, how women are “more powerful” after their forties and learning more about herself as an actress and person with each passing year. Stone also sat down to look back at her legendary career, achievements and timeless roles.

The Total Recall icon’s campy, extravagant dress was designed by Lebanese luxury brand Krikor Jabotian, her statement earring was by Piero Figura and she paired these items with classic Christian Louboutin heels. Stone showed off her stunning gray hair and enhanced her natural beauty with a glossy mauve lip, subtle shaded black eyeliner and mascara as well as blush along her cheekbones.

Stone shared this look with her 3 million Instagram followers last week and unsurprisingly garnered thousands of likes and comments from fans. Along with pull quotes from the cover story, she also posted another gorgeous ensemble from the same photo shoot in which she donned a ruffled white maxi dress, also designed by Krikor Jabotian. “THANK YOU,” she wrote in her caption, shouting out the publication and her glam team.

Her famous friends then added their thoughts across her comment sections for the 3 posts. Grey’s Anatomy‘s Kate Walsh, Thor‘s Jamie Alexander and Kelly Ripa added cute heart emojis while Leslie Jordan wrote, “That’s my friend, y’all. And, she’s freakin’ amazin’” as fans dubbed her “breathtaking,” “spectacular,” and “timelessly beautiful.” We couldn’t have said it any better!
