Sharon Stone, 65, proved she’s aging like fine wine when she attended The Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s Unforgettable Evening Benefit Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 16. The Basic Instinct actress walked the pink carpet (to raise awareness of breast cancer) in a head-turning green, rhinestone-embellished gown by Yousef Akbar. Her dress resembled the sequined, olive green party frock that Kate Middleton wore in 2019. The ensemble was made of half-satin and half-glittery fabric. It also featured built-in glove details and a cinched waist. Sharon accessorized with a metallic gold clutch. She received the Courage Award at the gala for her support of breast cancer research and commitment to raising awareness.

Sharon Stone Wears A Yousef Akbar Olive Green, Sequined Dress
Sharon's show-stopping Yousef Akbar dress was studded with rhinestones and draped up and over her shoulder. Half of the dress had a satin fabric while the other had a rhinestone-embellished fabric. The Grecian-esque gown had both a tight, high neck that accentuated her curves and a flowing, floor-sweeping bottom The unique design also had built-in glove features (similar to the dress that Kim Kardashian wore to her first Met Gala in 2013). Celebrities like Anne Hathaway have been accessorizing their red carpet looks with opera gloves and now Sharon is putting a twist on the trend. On her hip sat gold hardware that fastened the fabric in place, elegantly cinching her waist.
The actress opted for gold accessories including a clutch and huge hoop earrings. She styled her chic, blonde-gray pixie cut slicked back and away from her face. For makeup, Sharon—ever the iconic femme fatale—enhanced her natural beauty with a glossy mauve lip, subtle shaded black eyeliner, volumizing mascara, and blush along her cheekbones. To create her look for the evening, she worked with her go-to stylist Paris Libby, who also styled her breathtaking Vanity Fair cover look in 2022.
The Women's Cancer Research Fund is a part of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It supports the advancement of research for the "prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and metastasis of breast cancer." Proceeds from the Unforgettable Evening Benefit Gala go towards supporting funding for the foundation. Also in attendance were Rebel Wilson, Rachel Zoe, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Julianne Hough, Kathy and Rick Hilton, Lori Loughlin, and Olivia Jade Giannulli. Maroon 5 performed at the event.
Sharon received the Courage Award at the gala. In a speech, the star reflected on her experience undergoing surgeries to remove tumors in her breast. "Those mammograms are not fun," she said, tearing up. "And for someone like me who was told that I had breast cancer because I had a tumor that was larger than my breast and they were sure that I couldn't possibly have a tumor without it being cancer, it wasn't. But I went to the hospital, saying, 'If you open me up and it's cancer, please take both my breasts,' because I am not a person defined by my breasts. You know, that might seem funny coming from me since you've all seen 'em."
