Eva Longoria is owning Cannes, one red carpet and gala at a time! After turning heads in a daring low-cut gown, the actress took it up a notch with a completely sheer dress that left little to the imagination.
At the 10th Global Gift Gala during the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival in France, the Desperate Housewives star wowed in a sheer, full-length dress adorned with silver leaf designs and full sleeves. She completed the look with a sleek updo featuring a side fringe, silver hoop earrings, rings, and a nude lip. That’s how you make a statement!

At the event, for which she was one of the co-chairs, she gave herself height in ankle-strap silver heels and posed with singer Christina Milian.
The event, which raises funds for the Global Gift Foundation, supports children, women, and families in need. The Global Gift Foundation is a philanthropic non-profit dedicated to these causes. Longoria, an honorary member, co-hosted alongside chair Maria Bravo.
Speaking with France24, the mother of one chatted about being part of the festival for 20 years now and her memories from the event.

When asked what it means to be a regular at the festival, she said, "It's so much fun; I enjoy it. Next year will be 20 years that I'll be here with L'Oreal in Cannes. I love this community of filmmakers and the curation of films that are here. It's so global—more global than any of the other festivals.
She then revealed one of her best memories from the Cannes festival: "My first Cannes was fun because I just didn't know what it was; I didn't even know what it meant. I was like, 'What is that?'" she said, revealing how she would incorrectly pronounce the name of the festival.
The Devious Maids star might be wearing head-to-toe designer outfits now, but her first Cannes red carpet dress came with a much cheaper price tag. "I bought a dress for $40 and went to the pallet; I didn't even know what it was, and I loved that naivety."
Another one of her favorite memories involves her only son, "I love the time after my son was born, when he was a baby, and I brought him to Cannes. I had just given birth, and to kind of be here as a mom and to do double duty was also fun. And then I've had so many fashion moments too that I've really enjoyed."
