Sheryl Crow Looks Incredible At The Grammys In Alexander McQueen Dress And Youthful Hair And Makeup
The nine-time Grammy winner blew everyone away on the red carpet in a strapless black Alexander McQueen dress with a fiercely sexy thigh high slit in it (wow!) but it wasn’t just the ruffled asymmetric hem dress that contributed to her head-tuning appearance, as her hair – which was styled by Mark Townsend – also had some part to play too!
The "If It Makes You Happy" singer's enviable hairstyle consisted of face-framing layers and effortless, tousled beach waves, which is a modern, edgy (and evidently very youthful!) alternative to the more traditional voluminous blowout and more defined curls. Whatever her glam squad did, it worked!
And speaking of glam squad, makeup artist Meg Boes also did a great job of highlighting the singer's beauty with Rms Beauty products, by opting for a flawless and glowing base with the ReEvolve Radiance Locking Primer and ReEvolve Foundation and just the right amount of drama around the eyes with a mix of Eyelights shades Spark and Flare, finished off with a soft lip courtesy of the Wild With Desire Lipstick in Monterey. Everything worked together seamlessly to contribute to Sheryl's appearance which drove fans wild on social media!
Fan Reactions To Sheryl's Instagram Post From The Grammys Red Carpet
The comments section was understandably full to the brim with praise for her age-defying appearance and chic, "super classy look," to quote one fan. "I hope I look like her when I get to that age. So beautiful," gushed one fan, followed by the heart eyes emoji, while another fan said she "killed it" followed by several hearts on fire and heart eyes emojis. "That’s how a future Rock N Roll Hall of Famer looks!" exclaimed one fan, followed by the guitar emoji. "Rock on Sheryl," they added.
"In the middle of all those pricey outfits you were by far the most elegant," raved another fan, followed by the heart eyes emoji which featured heavily in the comments section for obvious reasons. "Sheryl, so beautiful!" added another fan, while another said she was "Looking fantastic," followed by three hand clapping emojis. "You look beautiful and so much talent!" added another, followed by the fire emoji.
Sheryl Crow Pays Tribute To Late Fleetwood Mac Musician Christine McVie
The arrivals red carpet wasn’t the only place the singer blew fans away, as she also wowed the crowd during a performance of "Songbird," in tribute to the late Fleetwood Mac musician Christine McVie, alongside Mick Fleetwood and Bonnie Raitt. Although it looked and sounded great to the audience, Crow told fans after the show that there were some technical difficulties during the performance, which she was undoubtedly disappointed with.
"Last night during our tribute, something really strange happened. I sat down to play with @bonnieraittofficial and @mickfleetwoodofficial and the piano was not working right," she wrote on Instagram. "I still cannot wrap my brain around it because I’ve never had it happen but the clock started for Mick and the first chord I played, only a couple of notes at a time would play. At one point, the piano in our ears was in a different key than what I was playing!"
She continued: "Thankfully, the broadcast mixer noticed something was off and switched over to the microphones. So to everyone else it sounds completely normal. But for us, the digital patch that was what we heard in our ears was CRAZY! Needless to say, I was disappointed but Mick and I decided after the performance that perhaps Christine might be up there sipping champagne and giggling, having been a keyboard player herself."
