It looks like Simon Cowell will land on his feet after 'The X Factor' ends. He is going to stick with ITV, working on a new show called 'Walk The Line.'

Created as a musical quiz show, 'Walk The Line' will have musical acts perform for a panel of judges. The top two performers of each episode will be able to choose whether to take a cash prize and go home, or "walk the line" to continue competing in the next episode.

Cowell will head the team of judges.

Cowell told Deadline of the show, “We wanted to develop a show which will give the contestants a life-changing cash prize if they win. Each show there will be a champion who must make a vital decision: either cash out then and there or stay in the contest to compete again the following night and have a chance to claim the huge prize. It’s the kind of decision that will have viewers on the edge of their seats – real event TV.”

The series will be televised in six parts, though a premier date has not yet been announced.
