At one point (or many), you may have suffered from dreaded back acne: otherwise known as backne. It makes you feel gross, and as much as you try to get rid of it, it only seems to come back with a powerful vengeance. It can get so bad that you'll refuse to wear anything with an open back in fear that people will see it!

Back acne can be caused by an array of factors: hormones, genetics, and even your diet! But, a little change in your routine can get rid of that backne in no time.
Sometimes, backne can actually go away with one simple change in your skincare regime. There's one surprising thing that you may think is helping your skin, but is actually making it much worse!
The kind of skincare products you're using could be the cause of your acne! Oil-based products can actually clog your pores, creating nasty whiteheads that never seem to go away on your chest and back. The biggest culprits of this are moisturizer and sunscreen, so watch out!
So, try choosing oil-free products for your skin the next time you're buying new products. Oily products will only do more damage, especially to sensitive skin, so always check the ingredients label to avoid those products! Also, using gentle skin cleansers in the shower will help rejuvenate your skin, leaving you with a clear, smooth back and kicking backne to the curb!
