‘The Voice’ Fans Are Devastated After Snoop Dogg Reveals He Won’t Be Returning: ‘He Made The Show’

Season 26 of The Voice came to a close on December 20th, and with it, Snoop Dogg’s coaching career on the show. Coaches for Season 27 were just announced, and while fans were happy to see former coach Adam Levine come back, many were devastated to see Snoop Dogg go. Keep reading for more information.

Snoop Dogg Announces He's Leaving 'The Voice'

Snoop Dogg joined Reba McEntre, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé as one of four coaches on The Voice this past season, and he was a welcomed by fans old and new. However, as Season 26 came to a close, it became clear that the rapper meant what he said about his tenure on The Voice back in the early days, that he's "gonna do this for one year and get up outta here."

In a conversation with the host, Carson Daly, Snoop admitted he didn't think he was going to love the job as much as he did. "It's been a great experience for me," he said. "I didn't know what I was signing on to, but I do know it feels like I could come back and do it again."

Fans React To Snoop Dogg's Departure

While Snoop left his fans with a little bit of hope that he may come back for a future season, it was made certain with an Instagram post from The Voice that he would not be back for Season 27. The show posted a video introducing the hosts for the next season: Adam Levine, John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, and Michael Bublé. While many fans were excited by this new line up, others were sad to see Snoop go.

"Can't wait, but please bring back Snoop and Gwen!" one fan commented.

"Can't imagine it will be as good without Snoop," another person said. "He made the show."

"It will be hard to top this current season 26," another agreed. "Without Snoop and Reba!"

"Please bring back Uncle Snoop in the future!" another said.

"Bring Snoop back pls he made the season so entertaining!" a final fan agreed.
