Heidi Klum Explains Why She Was ‘Upset’ With Sofia Vergara
Speaking exclusively with ET, the German supermodel revealed she was actually ‘upset’ with the Modern Family star, and it had to do with Sofia’s Netflix crime drama mini-series, Griselda.
Although the former Victoria’s Secret angel expressed genuine happiness for Vergara’s success with Griselda, she couldn’t help but mention a missed casting opportunity that left her feeling a tad disappointed.
“I was upset because I was like, ‘Why couldn’t I have been one of your cousins?’ I could have been a cousin that doesn’t speak, because obviously I don’t speak Spanish,” she laughed. “But I could have just been, you know, not speaking! I was upset.”
The blonde beauty continued, “I could have also been one of those gorgeous girls! I would have loved to. But she said, ‘Nein.'”
Throughout their time on the show, both on and off set, the duo have remained each other’s closest friends.
Vergara, who is currently dating surgeon Justin Saliman, revealed in the same interview, “We look at each other and it’s like, ‘You need more lipstick,’ or, ‘Your hair is not right.’ We’re always taking care of each other. I love that. We’re always trying to have fun in between, ’cause you go crazy on the set for too many hours,” she added.”
