Sofía Vergara appears on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter for a new edition of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Roundtable, alongside Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Brie Larson, Naomi Watts, Anna Sawai, and Jodie Foster. Check out the cover and some of the editorial images here.
The women were photographed by Paola Kudacki at the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica for the sensational cover, and they all wore stunning off-white ensembles. For her part, the America’s Got Talent judge, 51, wore a strapless off-white-colored jumpsuit, which according to the pub, is something she brought to the photoshoot from her own collection. She knows what looks good, we’ll give her that!
She accessorized with some gold earrings, which could be seen peeking through her shiny brunette tresses that Clariss Rubenstein styled in a center-parted curly down do. Makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani went bold with the makeup too, and she sported dark smoky eyes thanks to some dark eyeliner and big fluttery eyelashes, and a soft brown lip.
The Modern Family alum told Jimmy Kimmel that the cover shoot took place less than two weeks after she had extensive knee surgery, and her team wondered if she should skip it. According to Vergara, who was using a walker at the time, her team said, “We don’t think you’re in good shape, you’re not looking good.” But she was determined to not miss sharing a cover with the aforementioned Hollywood legends!
“The leg, they put it in a cushion very high, and obviously they cut my leg [from the cover photo],” she said, before going on to explain her wardrobe choice in more detail. Vergara recalled how she was told to arrive dressed in ‘business casual’ attire, which she interpreted in her own Sofía Vergara way!
“Look at what I’m wearing,” she joked on the show. “To me, that’s business,” she continued, adding: “Look at all of them! They look like they’re going to pray. I’m like, what business are they in? None of them work in the church or in the bank. To me, business casual is this.”
