The duo was spotted enjoying lunch together in NYC. The Modern Family alum and the race car driver sat next to each other at a restaurant, along with some of their friends.
TMZ reported that the 52-year-old actress, who just split up with surgeon Justin Saliman, barely touched her food as she was deeply engaged in the conversations.
Once they finished their meal, Vergara and the 40-year-old chatted outside the restaurant before leaving in separate SUVs.
However, as soon as the reports were published, a source confirmed to TMZ, “Sofia and Lewis had fun together, but it wasn’t a date, and they’re not dating,” they stated. “Lewis likes to flirt, but this was just a business meeting—not the start of a relationship.”
The insider added, “She’s going to let the rumors continue. If people think she is dating all these young guys and all these well-established men, then great. It helps her brand.”
