Everyone seems to be warming up to the idea of spring shopping this week, with several trends already emerging for the season. And when it comes to the one designer collaboration that everyone should be shopping right now, the just-launched Splendid x Margherita is it!
The limited-edition collaboration with Margherita Missoni just hit Splendid.com and can best be described as Italian street style meets laid-back California. We’re obsessed! “When these worlds collide, something magical happens,” the press release says.
Magical indeed. In the cheery line you'll find terry cloth caftans, colorblock tanks and Mergherita's namesake daisy print.
"Margherita means daisy, so that's my symbol in everything I do," Margherita Missoni explains.
The whopping 25-piece line includes effortless, super-soft pieces like daisy-embroidered tees, terry cloth sets, tie-front shirts, a chambray pinafore jumpsuit, and more.
“To me, Splendid epitomizes Californian style,” Missoni says. "I discovered the brand on my second trip to LA when I was 18 years old, and ever since, I’ve been attracted to the easy going attitude of their fashions. I completely relate to Splendid’s nonchalant, yet sophisticated designs as they strongly reflect the effortless style of my upbringing and culture. You'll want to live in this collection. Everything is crazy soft, but also elevated with design details. You'll find the on-trend pieces, like slip dresses, but with very interesting patterns like colorblocks, stripes and more, for "living artfully." We love the palazzo pants, inspired graphic tees and tie-front shirts. As soon as you see them you'll start daydreaming about your next vacaion.
