Starbucks’ seasonal menus are highly-anticipated, and many customers wait all year for their holiday menu.

Unfortunately, one of Starbucks’ most popular holiday-inspired drinks is absent from this year’s menu. The Gingerbread Latte’s last time on the menu was the holiday season 2018, and although customers were hoping to see its return soon, it won’t be happening this year.

The Starbucks' Gingerbread Latte is made with their espresso, steamed milk, and gingerbread syrup. Plus, it's topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg. All in all, it's a delicious holiday drink.

Unfortunately, Starbucks' 2020 holiday menu is limited to Peppermint Mocha, Eggnog Latte, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha.

The good news is that it tastes just as good as the original.

One reviewer wrote, "This is so good! I was so bummed when Starbucks took away gingerbread syrup this year, but this recipe is just as good!"

Another said, "I see I’m not the only one who searched “copycat starbucks gingerbread syrup recipe” because they got rid of their GL!! This is a great recipe, and thank you so much for it! I got a regular latte from Starbucks this morning and popped a few tablespoons of this syrup into it and it’s wonderful!! I am so glad I can still enjoy my GL this holiday season!"

Dunkin' Donuts

If you don't feel like making your own gingerbread syrup, you can order a Gingerbread Latte at Dunkin' Donuts instead.
