Starbucks Just Dropped A MAJOR Bombshell & People Are Freaking Out

Starbucks has a plan for *slowly* reopening stores amid the COVID-19 health crisis–and we are so here for it!

The chain announced that it will adopt a “monitor and adapt” strategy to reopening cafes in the US. If you recall, the coffee juggernaut closed cafes in mid-March.

CEO Kevin Johnson told employees via an open letter that the plan means that, "every community will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation," and then decide whether to reopen based on the local conditions of the virus outbreak. Makes sense!

We'll be counting down the days until our local Starbucks location is opened! And in the meantime, here's more good news from the company:

On March 26, the company announced that it would be offering a free tall brewed coffee to all front-line responders. Bravo!

And on April 8th, they announced $10M in COVID-19 relief for partners around the world.
