Starbucks is letting its customers on social media decide which new drinks make the menu!
The Seattle-based chain announced that it’s testing out an Iced Matcha Latte with Chai and the Pink Drink Remixed on Facebook and Instagram.
The company started the limited test last month. How it works: customers can order the custom beverages through the social platforms by swiping to access a special landing page where they can place the order. Here’s everything you need to know about the new menu additions:
Iced Matcha Latte with Chai
This drink is a social media special: the drink was popularized on TikTok by content creator Robin Swann, and was even later featured in a video by the singer Lizzo.
“I recently discovered the best drink in the world,” Swann said in a video at the time. “Iced Matcha Latte with two pumps of chai, tastes like drinking the moon herself.” Yum!
Pink Drink Remixed
The Pink Drink Remixed is a throwback Starbucks drink with a new twist. Take the Pink Drink from the menu (2017) which features coconut milk subbed in for water in the Straberry Acai, then add vanilla sweet cream cold foam for the remix.
