Hailey Baldwin is one of the trend’s early adopters. The model wore a very revealing, python-print string bikini from Triangl in an Instagram pic posted in January. She teamed the bikini with gold hoop earrings for an especially come-hither look.

Emily Ratajkowski is never one to pass up the opportunity to flaunt her toned abs, so of course she’s big into the trend, too. The “I Feel Pretty” actress posted a sultry black-and-white image of herself in a string bikini top from her own swimwear label, Inamorata.

Irina Shayk gave the trend a high-end spin in April, posing on Instagram in a teensy bikini designed by Burberry. The racy swimsuit was covered in the brand’s monogram.
And to the surprise of no one, a Kardashian sister took on the trend last May. Kourtney Kardashian posed on Instagram in a shiny gold string bikini that flaunted every inch of her famous figure.
