Twitter Is Destroying Sunny Hostin From ‘The View’ After She Says The Eclipse Was Caused By Climate Change: ‘Moron’

Sunny Hostin has been roasted online after her comments on The View about the total solar eclipse – which was witnessed in the U.S., Canada and Mexico on Monday, April 8th – being caused by climate change went viral.
The 55-year-old The View co-host made the comments while discussing the 4.8 magnitude earthquake that was felt across New York and New Jersey last weekend, and said: “Our wonderful make-up artist, when the earthquake was happening, she put her coat on. She was like, Jesus is coming, I’m out, I’m leaving. We’ve got a solar eclipse, we’ve got an earthquake… also, I learned that cicadas are coming for the first time in 100 years. All those things together would maybe lead one to believe that either climate change exists or something is going on.”
Sunny’s co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg immediately tried to correct her, with Behar saying: ‘Earthquakes are not at the mercy of climate change. It’s underground.”
Goldberg added: ”And the eclipse, they’ve known about the eclipse coming because eclipses happen, and they actually can say when these things are going to happen. All these folks who are saying it’s a sign from God, God doesn’t give you a warning. The cicadas come, we have them every 17 years. There are some we get every 20-some-odd years. They go under and come back up.”
