Sydney is just the latest star to take the sheer fashion trend to the next level. Everyone from Brie Larson to Florence Pugh has rocked see-through dresses, and now, Sydney's proved that this risqué trend is here to stay. On Wednesday, May 17th, the Euphoria star wore a black couture gown from the Schiaparelli spring/summer 2023 collection.
The spicy, strapless number featured completely sheer material with panels of strategically placed ruffles to cover her bust and bottom. The floor-length dress was almost entirely see-through on her torso and legs. The frilly ruffles added a romantic and playful touch to an otherwise simple silhouette. Sydney's Schiaparelli moment comes just two weeks after the actress attended the Met Gala wearing a baby pink Miu Miu mermaid dress.
She accessorized with a pair of black pointed-toe platform heels. And, she let her daring dress speak for itself and opted for minimal jewelry—just some chunky bejeweled rings and earrings for subtle glimmer. Her rings and earrings were from Fred Leighton. Sydney parted her blonde, butterfly hair down the middle and styled it slightly tousled and textured. As for makeup, the actress chose to sport a natural glam look for the premiere. She wore pink glittery eyeshadow, heavy eyeliner, and long lashes to highlight her blue eyes.
Sydney also recently wrapped filming on her upcoming romantic comedy, Anyone But You, in which she stars alongside actor, Glen Powell. During filming, there were rumors that the two actors had sparked a romance while on set in Australia—even though they were both dating other people. "It was such a blast," She told reports during the Reality premiere. "I mean, Australia was such a beautiful place to film, and the cast and crew were so much fun. I was living my best life. I loved it."
