Taco Bell has recently been testing a slew of new menu items across the United States, from Cheez-It Crunchwraps to vegan tacos. Now, they’re rolling out a brand new option that may just be their tastiest yet—and may even give their iconic Mexican pizza (which, by the way, sold out almost immediately after it was reintroduced to the menu earlier this year) a run for its money. Introducing the Cheesy Chipotle Chicken Flatbread.
After the whole Mexican Pizza debacle, Taco Bell might start selling ACTUAL pizza, or close to it.

That’s right! Lovers of pizza will be happy to hear that this new menu item is even closer to the real deal then the fast food chain’s Mexican pizza. The Cheesy Chipotle Chicken Flatbread is topped with mouthwatering, marinated white meat chicken, Creamy Chipotle sauce, tri-color tortilla chips, onions, and, of course, a three-cheese blend. And for those of you who love a little bit of a kick to your food, you can add Jalapenos to the mix. Our stomachs are grumbling!
Unfortunately, only a lucky few will have access to this cheesy new item. That's because it's currently only being tested in select locations around Charlotte, North Carolina. Roadtrip, anyone?
If you're lucky enough to live in the area, you can give your taste buds a treat by picking the Cheesy Chipotle Chicken Flatbread for just $3.99—or you can make it a combo with a Crunchy Taco and a drink for $6.99.
Whether or not this new concoction will be able to outdo the hype of the cult classic Mexican pizza, one thing's for sure: cheese lovers will be in heaven. Fingers crossed that testing goes well and it goes nationwide soon!
