Taco Bell has rejoined the fast-food crispy chicken wars!
Just like how Burger King bringing back its own crispy chicken sandwich recently, the Live Más chain has returned its Crispy Chicken Tacos (originally called Cantina Crispy Chicken Tacos) to menus for a limited time, now in two varieties: Creamy Chipotle and Avocado Ranch.
Crispy Chicken Tacos Return To Taco Bell Menus
The rebooted Taco Bell Crispy Chicken Tacos are available in two versions. Customers can order a Creamy Chipotle Crispy Chicken Taco, which features a flour tortilla filled with a crispy chicken strip, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and a creamy chipotle sauce—or an Avocado Ranch version, which has the same fillings but swaps out the chipotle for avocado ranch sauce. Both soft tacos cost about $2 each, and can be made Supreme with sour cream and diced tomatoes for $0.90, or "Fresco" with only diced tomatoes replacing any sauces for free.
Shoppers can also choose upgrades to add to their taco for small additional fees, like adding guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños, beans, seasoned rice, and more. And, if they're feeling particularly ravenous, they can order a Crispy Chicken Taco Deluxe Box for around $9.49 instead of a solo taco. The box includes a medium fountain drink, their choice of Crispy Chicken Taco variety, a Chalupa Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, and tortilla chips with nacho cheese sauce.
