Every fast food restaurant is guilty of their actual food not looking exactly like the fresh, juicy items advertised in photos on the menu, pictures on the app, or featured in television commercials. And to a certain extent, you can’t really get mad—they pay people to make the food look nice for advertising. But this time, customers think Taco Bell has taken things too far.
One customer innocently ordered Loaded Beef Nachos from their local Taco Bell, only to be delivered what can only be described as a mess. This customer posted a photo of their order on Reddit, where other customers informed them that they’d been “ripped off.” Keep reading for more details.
Taco Bell Nachos
The Loaded Beef Nachos are advertised to look pretty delicious on the website. A box overflowing with crisp tortilla chips, covered in seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, and refried beans, topped with guacamole, sour cream, and red sauce. Yum! Unfortunately, that's not what Reddit user @ACLisntworththehype9 got when he ordered it.
@ACLisntworththehype9 took to the TacoBell subreddit to post a photo of their order. They captioned the photo "Everyone's on here looked so good so thought I'd try. Wondering if my Taco Bell hates me..."
And based on the photo, one might think they do. Taking up barely half of the box are some soggy-looking tortilla chips, some barely visible beef, minimal nacho cheese sauce, a dollop of sour cream, and what might be construed as red sauce smeared on the bottom of the box. The guacamole was nowhere to be found. This goes without saying, but it looked pretty nasty.
Redditors Call Out Taco Bell For 'Sad' Nachos
And other Redditors agree. The post has garnered quite a few comments from other customers, with one writing, "Ngl bro I would've had to take that back." You know it's bad when you have to take your Taco Bell back!
"You got ripped off..." another person wrote. "Sorry but this is not okay."
"This is so sad," one customer said with a frowning face.
"Sometimes I make microwave nachos that look better than that, I'm sorry," another person added,
"Yeah I think your Taco Bell is broke," one user wrote. "You should try and contact corporate."
"Yeah, they hate you," a final customer wrote.
