Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Taco Bell’s New ‘Dipping Tacos’
November 11, 2022 by Marissa Matozzo
Taco Bell is currently testing ‘Grilled Cheese Dipping Tacos’ in select markets, including locations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul and Nashville areas, as reported by WKRN. The iconic chain’s new menu item idea centers around a tasty taco that comes with a special dipping sauce. Here’s what we know about the new ‘Dipping Tacos’ so far, and Taco Bell’s other new menu items that fans can try:
Taco Bell’s latest endeavor highlights tacos made with a white corn tortilla shell (“freshly fried daily,” according to Taco Bell), filled with “beef and a melted blend of cheddar, mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses.” The grilled taco will also feature a toasted crust on the outside of the shell, according to photos shared by the company. These orders are served with the fast food giant’s “savory red sauce” or nacho cheese sauce that comes with it, for dipping.
The Irvine, California-based chain recently confirmed that Minnesota-St. Paul area are now serving up Dipping Tacos with seasoned beef for $2.99 per taco. In Tennessee, restaurants are offering Dipping Tacos with “slow-braised shredded beef” for $3.49 each, and each is available as part of a Deluxe Box, too.
For those of us who don’t live in Minnesota or Tennessee and aren’t able to try the Dipping Tacos, we can still find other delicious and tempting treats at a Taco Bell near us. For example, the chain’s Loaded TRUFF Nacho Fries (made with truffle-infused hot sauce) are now hitting restaurants nationwide, along with a new frozen beverage, the Cherry Bliss Freeze.
In addition, the Mexican Pizza is said to finally be back after selling out at many Taco Bells across the US earlier this year, and Nacho Fries are also returning for a limited time with optional TRUFF dipping sauce for an extra dollar.
Customers in Fresno, California, and Philadelphia, WKRN reports, can also sip on new iced coffee flavors such as Dulce de Leche, Mexican Chocolate Mocha and Sweet Vanilla. News of Taco Bell’s Dipping Tacos and other new items comes only days after the Tex-Mex chain confirmed it would be bringing back the Enchirito, a long-discontinued item.
You can grab an Enchirito for a limited time beginning November 17th, ultimately making this month an exciting one for Taco Bell fans— whether you’re nearby a Dipping Tacos location or elsewhere!
