Taco Bell adds Steak and Bacon Grilled Cheese Burrito to menu
Taco Bell frequently tests inventive new foods at select locations. And while it's always hard for us to watch from afar while people in these test markets get to enjoy these limited time options, every once in a while, the new items pass the taste test and go nationwide. That's what happened with the new Steak and Bacon Grilled Cheese Burrito, which was tested earlier this year in Cleveland.
While you may be familiar with the iconic Grilled Cheese Burrito or the newer Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco, this selection is a brand-new taco that offers—surprise!—a bit of bacon. It's filled with marinated grilled steak, potatoes, chipotle sauce, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, three-cheese blend, and, of course, it's got a bit of that three-cheese blend grilled on the outside of the flour tortilla. As an added touch, it's all topped off with a bit of bacon.
Think this sounds delicious? You're not alone. According to Reddit users, it meets the mark. "Had one and it was pretty good, solid 8/10," someone said. "The bacon on it is a nice adjustment from the usual Taco Bell taste."
Another person chimed in to say: "It was delicious."
You can grab one now for around $5.99, but prices will vary. While you're at it, might we suggest opting for a Wild Strawberry Creme Delight Freeze too?
