Recalled: Threshold Glass Jar Candles
A whole list of Target‘s Threshold brand candle products were affected, including the 5.5 oz. Berry Lemonade and Melon Candle, 20 oz. Warm Cider and Cinnamon Candle, 14 oz. Crackling Wooden 3-Wick Ocean Air and Moss Candle, and dozens more. The specific reason given for recall was that the candle’s jar can crack or break during use, posing laceration and burn hazards. 6 injuries have been reported to date.
The candles range from 5.5 oz. single wicks to 14 and 20 oz. triple wicks, and even some wood wicks. The prices for the items spanned from $3 to $20 each.
Any customer with a candle bearing a bottom label item number matching the Target website's list should promptly discontinue any use of the candle or candles and return the item to a Target store for a full refund. If you're not able to bring back your candle in person, Target will send you a prepaid return label—just contact their customer service and begin a return request.
