Popular Instagram account @junkfoodmom recently uploaded a post dedicated to the Belgian Boys pancake cereal, and wrote in the caption, “Haven’t heard from @belgianboys in awhile… now I know why. On the Target website, the treat is described to be vegetarian-friendly, ready to eat, and “easy, fast and convenient.” Each 9.87 oz/ 4 ct box of pancakes costs $5.79, and contains mini pancake bites that Target suggests topping with “butter, syrup, berries or a splash of milk.”
In addition, these bites don’t contain any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives or corn syrup, making them suitable for many diets, although they do contain wheat, eggs and milk. As seen in viral TikTok videos, to prepare these, you’re instructed to “warm pancakes in the microwave for 1 minute or on the stovetop for 2-3 minutes.”
