The best thing about our favorite singers bringing out new music (apart from the music itself, obviously) is all the exciting promo they do for it. And any good promo trail comes with an expansive brand new wardrobe filled with one attention-grabbing piece after another. Taylor Swift’s outfits over the past few weeks have been some of the most head-turning we’ve ever seen! But the black mini dress she wore on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday, November 11th was in a whole league of its own! We can’t believe our eyes!
The 31-year-old award-winning singer is currently promoting the re-recorded version of her iconic 2012 album, “Red”, (not that she needs to, as her loyal army of Swifties have most likely already pre-ordered several copies of it!) and we are completely obsessed with the off-the-shoulder David Koma dress she wore for the talk show. If you’re wondering how you can blend sophistication with all-out sex-factor, then we politely ask you to look at this picture of the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer, because she definitely understood the assignment.
The stunning long-sleeved LBD features a plunging neckline and one of the shortest hemlines in existence. We have no idea how she managed to sit so conservatively and comfortably without flashing the camera! We definitely wouldn't be able to sit and have a conversation (on TV of all places!) with a hemline that short; just sayin'! She's a pro! The "Shake it Off" singer accessorized her little black dress – emphasis on the little – with a waist-cinching belt and black slingbacks, which came complete with crystal-embellished straps. Tay wore her hair down in a sleek and straight style, and finished the look off with a pop of red lipstick and a matching red manicure. Because when you're going for the ultimate sexy look, is there any other color choice than red?
The internet has exploded with excited comments about the LBD, with most people saying the dress is giving them serious Princess Di revenge dress vibes. (The late Princess Diana famously wore a skin-tight LBD in 1994 for a dinner at the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens, shortly after her husband Prince Charles' confession of adultery was broadcast. It was almost definitely the raciest thing anyone from the royal family EVER wore!) And we guess it's kind of fitting, as the re-recorded "Red" album is *sort of* Taylor's revenge. FYI, Taylor is re-recording all of the albums she made when she was under her previous record label Big Machine Records (which was purchased by Scooter Braun in 2019) so she can have full ownership of them. And her fans aren’t mad about it, because, you know, new music! We can’t wait for more sexy Taylor looks in the not-so-distant future; we know they're coming!
