The "Blank Space" hitmaker wowed in a pale blue lace dress by Erdem, which featured a structured bodice and an asymmetric skirt. The internet thinks that the color of Taylor's outfit was a well-thought-out sartorial choice, as it seemed to coincide with the announcement that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) will be released on October 27th, exactly nine years to the day that the original version was released.
As all Swifties know, blue is the color associated with the 1989 era, with Taylor choosing to debut five new blue outfits during her August 9th Eras performance in Los Angeles when she first made the announcement about the album's release. (8/9… get it?)
