Taylor Swift is one of the many celebrities who seems to be getting more beautiful by the day – and this theory was put to the test when we compared pictures of a fresh-faced 19-year-old Taylor when her career was really taking off back in 2008 to pictures of her at 33 years old in 2023. We think you’ll agree that, despite always being a natural beauty which is more than evident in the 2008 pictures, the singer is looking better than ever!
Taylor Swift In 2008 Vs 2023
The change in the "Cowboy Like Me" singer's appearance was brought to our attention after seeing a 2020 post from TMZ which compared a picture of Taylor in 2006 at the *very* start of her career with a picture of her in 2020, complete with her flawless skin and signature red lip. This inspired us to compile our very own before and after pictures (above and below) using pictures from 15 years ago to pictures from the present day. 15 years seemed like a good period of time to compare!
TMZ asked the question whether the "Blank Space" singer's flawless appearance was down to good genes or good docs – and for what it's worth, the results in the poll were pretty much even, with good genes getting ever so slightly more votes. (At the time of writing, good genes got 57% of the votes, while good docs got 43%.)
Fan Comments
Fans also sounded off in the comments section of TMZ's post on Twitter too, and they were quite divided with their opinions. Some fans thought that the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer may have had some help, shall we say, to achieve her present day appearance, with one fan saying it was down to "good doctors," and another being a little more specific and thinking she may have had a "brow lift and a nose job." "Good docs just like the rest of Hollywood," speculated another Twitter user, while someone else thought it was neither docs nor genes, and was simply "Good makeup!" Many others thought it could be "both," with another also crediting "Photoshop" for her appearance in some pictures.
Others definitely didn’t think that her glowing appearance was down to good docs, with one simply saying "Genes," and another writing, "Good genes and a skin care regimen only the elite can afford." "She is cute either way," wrote one Swiftie, while many others thought that getting older is what contributed to the change in her appearance. "It's called growing up," said one fan, while another said: "With age comes beauty."
