Ever since Taylor Swift announced that her tenth studio album Midnights is on its way, fans are eagerly watching her recent TikTok videos in which the singer reveals the names of the record’s upcoming tracks! In her September 21st upload, Swift, 32, explained that she would be making a new video series to promote her forthcoming LP. While posing in front of a brown velvet curtain and sitting in a purple chair of the same material, Swift channeled 90s glam with her outfit, stance, and video vision— and Swifties can’t get enough.
The Grammy winner donned an auburn-colored, vintage-inspired blazer with chic buttons on its sleeves, short-shorts that flaunted her long, toned legs, and a crisp white tee underneath. To accessorize her get-up, Swift added shiny rings and gold hoop earrings. The “cardigan” hitmaker wore her long, signature blonde tresses and bangs down and styled into loose waves. As for makeup, the stunner added her trademark black cat-eye eyeliner wing to emphasize her blue eyes, rosy blush on her cheekbones, and a reddish-brown lipstick color that we think is absolutely perfect for fall.

Swift said to viewers while looking at the camera, “It’s me, hi. I know that I have a habit of dropping cryptic clues and Easter eggs when giving you information about my music and I am not here to deny that, but I am here to defy that.” She then introduced “a new series” in honor of her new music called, “Midnights Mayhem With Me.”
The Red (Taylor’s Version) songwriter then pointed to a metal cage containing ping pong balls, and explained, “I am going to be using this technologically advanced device to help me allow fate to decide exactly what track titles I’m going to be announcing, and in what order.” She noted that there were thirteen ping pong balls labelled #1-13 and each made to represent a track on the Midnights album. “So let’s leave it up to fate,” she said, before selecting a white ball. “The first track I’m going to tell you about, track 13, because, of course.” She then picked up a retro red phone and held it up to her ear. “Track 13 is called “Mastermind,” she shared.

Fans headed to her comment section to share their excitement at the news. “Mastermind is right Taylor!” one user wrote while another added, “This is iconic.” Others guessed that Swift may have been inspired by the cult classic 90s show Twin Peaks with her outfit, delivery of the lines and ideas when making the video. Eagle-eyed devotees and fashion enthusiasts wrote on Instagram that Swift’s blazer is by Canadian label Smythe, from its Fall/Winter 2022 collection and raved about its silhouette and how effortlessly it flatters Swift’s figure.

Since that video, Swift has unveiled the following song names off Midnights (which will *finally* arrive on October 21st): track 2, “Maroon,” track 6, “Midnight Rain,” track 7, “Question…?,” and track 8, “Vigilante S—t.” (Mark your calendars for the official Midnights release date, when we can not only see all the song names but hear them, as well!)
