Fans Think Taylor Swift Endorsed Kamala Harris
Last week, the “Cruel Summer” singer posted a series of photos to celebrate the three nights she performed The Era’s Tour concert in Warsaw, Poland. One photo in particular caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans. The seventh photo of the slide, a picture of Taylor Performing the song “Lover,” shows the pop star holding her pink guitar and standing next to a microphone center stage. Behind her, though, is the silhouette of someone—it’s impossible to say for sure who it is—that looks uncannily like the silhouette of Vice President Kamala Harris from behind.
The silhouette appears to be wearing a blazer and pants, a staple outfit from Harris, with what could be shoulder length dark hair similar to Harris as well. The silhouette’s hand is raised in a wave to the right, and many fans are nearly certain that this was Taylor’s way of teasing her support of Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.
Fans Speculate Swift's Support for Kamala Harris
Because Swift has her comments turned off for her photos, fans took to other forms of social media to share their thoughts. One user posted a screenshot of Taylor's Instagram on X, formerly Twitter, writing alongside it, "We all know TS is amazing with her breadcrumbs... hope the deliberate posting of this pic hints at what #SwiftiesForHarris are hoping for!"
"I saw it, as did 2.6M on Instagram," one person replied. "Trump is toast."
"Does anyone have photos/video of Warsaw showing this moment?" another person asked, referencing the moment the photo was taken. "I'm not convinced this is a backup dancer but I'm open to being proven wrong! This 1000% looks like Kamala to me!"
"I think it is a backup dancer," another person challenged. "But I also think she chose it because she knew *exactly* what it looks like... and because, well, Taylor. I bet there's something big for her endorsement planned, but she can't help messing with us a bit."
