Not only did our queen Taylor Swift just drop her new single “Carolina,” and not only are rumors of her next album swirling, but we also just got new photos of her with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn. This is such a rare treat—it’s not often we get a glimpse into this ultra-private relationship. Fans are losing their minds over their sweet displays of affection while on vacation. The couple is honestly too adorable for words!
The “Shake It Off” hitmaker and her actor boyfriend recently landed in the Caribbean, following Swift’s appearance at Tribeca Film Festival. The couple didn’t book a classic beachside resort, though; instead, they’re reportedly staying in Lenny Kravitz’s Airstream trailer. It seems they’ve been spending their vacation days soaking up the sun—and each other’s company.

In these rare photos, Swift, 32, is rocking a simple black bikini and an effortless messy, low bun, while Alwyn, 31, sports blue swim trunks. Of course, they shared a few salty kisses while wading in the clear blue waters. So romantic!
Although the songstress and her beau have been dating since 2016, they’ve been careful to keep their relationship under wraps the whole time. Back in March, the “Conversations With Friends” star told The Guardian that although he knows people want to hear more about their relationship, he prefers not to share everything. “I think that’s just my response to a culture that has this increasing expectation that everything is going to be given,” he said. “If you don’t post about the way you make your coffee in the morning, or if you don’t let someone take a picture when you walk out of your front door, is that being private? I don’t know if it is. So I just don’t really feed that.”

Despite their low-key romance, fans have plenty of theories around this couple—including speculations that they’re secretly married. Alwyn’s lips, however, are sealed. “If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins,” he said in an interview with WSJ. Magazine earlier this year. “I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.” So mysterious! We’re just happy we were able to get one small peek at the couple enjoying their vacation.
Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for that announcement about 1989 Taylor’s Version… but we suppose she can relax in the Caribbean a bit longer.
