Taylor Swift seemed to make light of her feud with Kanye West during her recent Seattle tour stop for her Eras Tour. While performing her song, “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things,” the Grammy winner chuckled at one point, after singing the line: “Here’s to you, cuz forgiveness is a nice thing to do.”
The track’s lyrics are widely thought to reference her long-standing beef with West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Swift was met with a loud roar from the crowd as she laughed. The 33-year-old then stopped and remarked: “I can’t even say it with a straight face,” before launching into the final chorus of the song.

Did Taylor Swift Mock Feud with Kanye West at her Seattle Show? Fans Think So
Swift’s jokey reference is similar to the original recording from her 2017 album, Reputation, which followed (and is often thought to have been inspired by) her quarrels with West. See the now viral moment (thanks to fan-shot footage) above.
In 2016, West released the controversial song "Famous," where he proclaimed to have made Swift famous and used derogatory language towards her.
He also used her likeness in its accompanying music video. This triggered outrage, prompting West to declare that Swift had given permission for her name to be used.
Kardashian, West's wife at the time, publicly named Swift a "snake" on social media and released an audio recording of the conversation which purportedly confirmed West's claims. To confront the insult, Swift chose to embrace the snake label, even including snakes in her tour and promotional material related to her album, Reputation.
Swift and West's feud dates back to 2009 when the rapper infamously interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, however, it appeared to have been settled until "Famous" was released.
In 2020, an unknown source seemed to have unveiled the full "Famous" phone call recording between West and Swift, finally giving credence to Swift's version of the events. It looks like Swift got the last laugh at her recent concert!
