After successfully re-recording and releasing three of her past albums, Taylor Swift just announced that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is next! In an Instagram post for her 270 million followers, the Grammy winner, 33, shared the exciting news along with a stunning cover image that shows her smiling in front of a sky blue background with her natural, curly, windswept hair.

Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of the announcement, or the glimpse of the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker’s natural hair texture! Regarding her 2014 hit record and upcoming revamped editon, Swift wrote in her caption: “Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you soon! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th.”

Taylor Swift Stuns with Beachy, Windswept, Natural Curls in Upcoming Album Artwork

In her message to fans, Swift continued: “To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!” For the album artwork, Swift rocked her signature red lipstick hue, subtle eye makeup and rosy blush. In the pic, she is surrounded by seagulls, which gives off an epic beachy vibe along with her curly, voluminous tresses.

Fans on social media expressed their anticipation to hear both beloved and never-bef0re-heard tracks from that era. They also commended the “gorgeous” and “breathtaking” cover shot.

In 2014, Swift dropped the major hit (and her fourth studio album) 1989, which spawned successful singles like “Shake it Off,” “Blank Space,” “Bad Blood,” and more. Since her initial August 10th announcement, Swift has also revealed that the upcoming album will also come in two special versions: the Sunrise Boulevard Vinyl Edition and Aquamarine Green Edition.

For the former’s artwork, Swift can be seen lying in the sand on a beach wearing a striped, multicolored sweater with thigh-skimming shorts. For the latter, the style icon sat on a dock, and went for a teal-and-white, striped, long-sleeved top, light wash jeans and pink, 90s-esque jelly sandals.

On July 7, 2023, she shared the re-recording of 2010’s Speak Now. In 2021, the record-breaking songwriter released the new editions of Red and Fearless, her 2012 and 2008 albums, respectively. The final two that are left for her re-recording journey are 2017’s Reputation and her 2006 debut album.

Overall, this just might be the most exciting news in our Wildest Dreams!
