Taylor Swift is arguably the queen of reinvention. During her time in the spotlight, we’ve witnessed various eras with their own streamlined aesthetic and style. From the floral dresses and cowboy boots of her breakout album to the snake-print, Gucci thigh-highs she rocked during her Reputation era, we can always look to Swift to keep us on our toes.
With a new single out and an album on the horizon, T.Swift seems to be ushering in her latest aesthetic reminiscent of the flowy, ethereal vibes of her “Love Story” days. She hit the red carpet of the Time 100 Gala wearing a pastel peach and yellow creation by J. Mendel that was straight out of a fairytale. The gold floral headband adorning Swift’s wispy, undone hair effortlessly added to the feminine nature of the look.

It seems Swift can also add fashion designer to her ever-expanding repertoire, as it was her idea to make the billowing sleeves detachable to easily be removed for her acoustic performance set at the gala. “She had the vision of having some sort of cover that would give it a different volume than just a basic dress,” Gilles Mendel, J. Mendel’s creative director, told Page Six.
