Taylor herself described the song as being "about listening to your gut when it tells you to leave. How you always know before you know, you know?" And although that description might not seem like a reference to Kloss, the actual lyrics definitely seem to describe their once-friendship, especially considering the model's connection to Scooter Braun. Braun famously bought Swift's masters without her approval.
The lyrics in question read: "When the words of a sister come back in whispers / That prove she was not in fact what she seemed / Not a twin from your dreams / She's a crook who was caught."

They definitely have a point.
Although neither Karlie nor Taylor has confirmed their friend break up, Taylor was noticeably absent from Kloss' wedding in October 2018. That year, however, Kloss denied their rumored falling out when speaking to The New York Times, saying, "Don't believe everything you read."
Despite her protests, pictures of Kloss spending time with Scooter Braun seemed to have confirmed the friendship split.
Although these photos (and what they would have meant for her friendship with Swift) are hard to deny, during a 2019 Watch What Happens Live interview with Andy Cohen, the model still called Swift a "friend." She said, "Taylor’s incredible, and I feel really lucky to call her a friend."
We're not exactly convinced.
Not to mention, this was not the only Swift lyric that could have referred to their falling out. Taylor's other bonus track, "Right Where You Left Me," seems to have another reference to their feud. In the track, she sings, "Friends break up, friends get married."
Considering Swift's absence from Kloss' wedding, it definitely sounds like this song could be referring to their very own friendship split. At least, fans seem to think so.
