Fans Are ‘Blown Away’ By Taylor Swift’s Stunning ‘Vanity Fair’ Shoot: ‘She Is Unreal’

Taylor Swift just sat down for an Old Hollywood-esque Vanity Fair photoshoot, and fans can’t get enough! The “All Too Well” hitmaker, 32, stopped by the publication’s official portrait studio last week in a sequined, gold Louis Vuitton gown that she wore to the Toronto Film Festival, and posed for two ethereal black-and-white photos.
The Grammy winner stunned in one close-up photo that flaunted her gorgeous makeup look and jewelry for the evening, as well as a full-body shot of her sitting and showing off the glistening, gilded glamour dress in all its shimmering glory. Swift’s custom, nude fabric gown was adorned with mirrored details and featured a gold sheen. The garment was complete with a sweetheart neckline and a goddess-like, off-the-shoulder lattice piece made of gold hardware.
To complete her timeless ensemble, Swift opted for ‘Reflection Citrine Earrings’ by Melis Goral, gold ‘You and Me’ rings by Dijula, and the following two ring pieces from Cadar— the ‘Light Baguette’ and ‘Tu Psyche’ jewels. The “cardigan” singer wore her long, dirty blonde tresses and voluminous bangs down and styled straight for the shoot, and rocked a classic smokey eye, rosy blush along her high cheekbones, and topped it all off with a glossy pink lip.
The official Vanity Fair account shared the Sebastian Kim-shot images with their 7.5 million followers, and Swifties headed to the comment section to hype up the “Cruel Summer” songwriter’s look. “Oh my god she is UNREAL,” wrote one user while another added, “talented AND gorgeous!”
Others wrote that they were “looking at the music industry itself” when seeing photos of the ultra-successful artist, and many noted her other recent accomplishments, “that’s doctor director Taylor Alison Swift to you!” another commented. Someone else wrote that this ensemble is reflective of Swift’s upcoming “Midnights era,” referencing her forthcoming 10th studio album, Midnights, out on October 21.
As Swifties continue sharing what they’re learning about the record (including its possible relations to her past “glitzy and city night-inspired” releases like 1989 and Reputation, as one fan tweeted), many are taking to Twitter to analyze her recent sparkly outfits (like that silver Oscar de la Renta VMAs gown and the afterparty starry Moschino romper). One wrote of this Louis Vuitton look, “it’s giving midnight glamour!!!” as another commented, “Here’s to the Midnights era.”
