Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Reportedly 'Got Engaged'
On a recent episode of the DeuxMoi podcast, the creator revealed that a trusted source told her of the pair's engagement. "Pretty sure Taylor and Travis got engaged 12/31," the source says. "Did it just the two of them alone before that party they were photographed at."
Well, they were looking pretty loved up during that party...
The Kansas City Chiefs hosted a New Year's party for friends and family of the team, and Taylor Swift famously made an appearance in a shimmering mini dress. They were seen dancing and kissing and were just generally inseparable, which would make sense if they just got engaged!
The podcast host continued, saying that the pair thought it would be "too soon to go public" with the news, especially with the Super Bowl coming up. As Travis's team gets closer to securing a Super Bowl spot, they need to be hyper focused on football, and not on the supposed nuptials.
DeuxMoi Has Been Wrong Before
This is not the first time that the gossip site DeuxMoi has spread rumors about Taylor's relationship status. Back in November, the creator insisted that Taylor married her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn back in 2020: "She DID have a ceremony in either 2020 or 2021 in the UK and it was described to me as a 'marriage' by more than one person. It was NEVER made legal," she said. "I will die on this hill! Put it on my tombstone!"
But Taylor Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, was quick to shut down these rumors, saying in a tweet: "Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi," she wrote. "There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post. It's time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these."
So could it be true that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged? Only time will tell.
