Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Fuel Engagement Speculation Ahead of the Super Bowl as He Responds to 'Proposing' Question
During the conference, reporters relentlessly asked the athlete about his pop star girlfriend. At one moment, the NFL star was even questioned about whether he planned to propose to the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker after his significant game this coming weekend. He replied, with a smile: "Wouldn’t you like to know?" During the same session, a different journalist asked Kelce about the fan idea that the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker has brought "luck" to the Chiefs.
Opening up more about his relationship with Swift, Kelce shared: "I think we both love to manifest things." He went on: "You can’t say it’s not real because we’re here, right?" Kelce also said that his favorite album of Swift's is her 2024 record, The Tortured Poets Department (containing songs rumored to be about their romance). "I might be a little biased," he said before gushing over his love for Swift's songs "So High School" and "The Alchemy."
Kelce and the Chiefs are set to compete against the Philadelphia Eagles (again) in Super Bowl LIX this Sunday, February 9th.
Various sources have reported that the "Down Bad" artist will be present at the game, though it remains unknown which of her famous friends will join her to support her partner.
Rumors about a "Tayvis" engagement started to circulate in recent weeks, particularly following Swift and Kelce's public displays of affection at the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 26th. In one video, which was uploaded to X by the NFL on January 27th, Kelce (who just beat the Bills) can be seen walking off the field with his arm around his girlfriend, who has her arm behind his back. The post was captioned: “What a moment for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.”
“Feel like they’re even more in love than last year,” commented one fan. “Donna feeling like a third wheel waiting for them to be done. Too cute,” gushed a second, as a third said: “I want him to propose when they win Superbowl.”
"Love them together!" one fan recently wrote on X as another tweeted: "They are such a cute couple!" Another noted that they've been "calling" a Super Bowl engagement between them "for months now" as one other commented: "I think they are already engaged." One other theorized: "his proposal will be epic and original."
We'll be tuning in to the Super Bowl live at 6:30 p.m., ET, on FOX this Sunday to catch more "Tayvis" moments!
