If, like most of us, you find yourself rushing to make it out the door in time each morning, you may find it difficult to cook up a nutritious breakfast every day. Even if you prioritize your health, sometimes your only option is to stop at a fast food restaurant to grab a quick bite. Luckily, fast food breakfasts don’t have to be as unhealthy as McDonald’s hot cakes. There are actually several options out there that are great for staying fit and well!

To discover some of the best fast food breakfast items out there, we spoke to dietitian Molly Morgan, RD. Morgan pointed out two tasty options: the Feta Egg White Wrap from Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts’ Hummus Toast With Roasted Tomatoes.

Starbucks Spinach and Feta Egg White Wrap

When you pull up to Starbucks for your morning coffee on the way to work, there's no denying that their breakfast menu has some seriously tempting options. All those sweet pastries and breads, the savory sandwiches... even the cake pops may be calling your name! But well all know that high-sugar breakfast items are a no-go when it comes to weight loss—and for your overall wellbeing. Luckily, Morgan says there's one great option to consider: their Spinach and Feta Egg White Wrap.

"This wrap is so easy to eat on the go," she says. But it isn't only convenient—it's actually quite nutritious, too! Morgan notes that it "delivers 20 grams of protein coming mostly from cage free egg whites." Plus, it's made with a whole wheat wrap, which she says "has 3 grams of fiber and will help to fill you up!" Yum! With only 290 calories, this isn't a bad way to start your day at all.

Dunkin Donuts Hummus Toast with Roasted Tomatoes

If you're a Dunkin loyalist who won't be caught rolling up to the Starbucks window, don't worry. Morgan has you covered, as well. This chain may be known for their irresistible donuts and their classic bagel sandwiches, but there are still options for health-conscious customers who are watching their weight. Morgan suggests going with the Hummus Toast with Roasted Tomatoes. Sounds delicious—and healthy!

"What I love about this is that it delivers a combination of healthier fat (11 grams per slice) along with 4 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein to fill you up!" Morgan praises. Plus, it's one of the less sugary options on the menu; she notes that it only has 1 gram of sugar. Coming in at 250 calories, it's perfect for those who are looking to go a low-cal route. And it's not lacking in the taste department, either: "The roasted tomatoes and the Za'atar seasoning is so flavorful!" Morgan says. We can't wait to give it a try!
