What you eat in the morning basically sets up how healthy your daily food habits are going to be. If you start off your day with unhealthy foods, like sausages and pancakes, chances are you're going to make the same choices for the rest of the day. These unhealthy foods are guaranteed to make you gain weight, keeping you farther away from your weight loss goals.

So, try to make some healthier food choices for your first meal of the day. Eating a healthy and balanced breakfast has been proven to be higher in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals in comparison to fat-filled ones, and lower cholesterol. Also, eating healthy has been known to improve concentration and performance and give you more strength and endurance for physical activity.
Instead of ordering that huge breakfast sandwich from your local deli, try making a healthy breakfast at home. There's one popular breakfast food that will help you shed some pounds and start the day off right. Can you guess which one it is?
According to nutritionist Kris Gunnars, BSc, it's whole eggs. This food is high in protein, healthy fats, and is low-calorie. Eggs are also helpful to weight loss because they are very filling with small portions. Many people fear that eggs impact cholesterol levels, but a new study shows that it's not exactly true, according to Gunnars. Eggs have been known to help you get all the nutrients you need on a calorie-restricted diet, with most nutrients being held in the yolks.
A few studies have shown that eggs are really great for weight loss, according to Gunnars. "One study of 30 overweight women showed that eating eggs for breakfast, instead of bagels, increased satiety and made them eat less for the next 36 hours," she said. Another 8 week study found that switching eggs for bagels at breakfast time increased weight loss. So, make a simple breakfast tomorrow morning and chow down on some eggs! There's tons of ways to make them, and most of them are healthy as long as you're not frying them in tons of oil.
